Lugansk Tube Plant is Ukraine's largest producer of pipes for general applications and the leading supplier of the products to the CIS. The plant is capable of producing about 740,000 t a year of welded pipes for constructional purposes, including water & gas pipes and pipes for general applications, as well as square and rectangular hollow sections.
In 2009, the producer accounted for about 20% of total domestic pipe sales. Constantly expanding the capacity and the product range, Lugansk Tube Plant increased its share in the Ukrainian pipe market to almost 40% by 2010.
About 40% of the Plant' total production is exported. The rates are high thanks to diversified sales geography, wide product range and high quality of the products based on almost 100-year history of the pipe plant. We supply pipes to over 20 countries in the CIS and the EU, including Russia, Germany, Moldova, Belarus, Hungary, Romania, etc.
Today, our product range includes over 120 pipe types. The products are certified in UkrSEPRO System and comply with Russian GOST standards. Besides, the plant produces hollow sections made from S235JRH constructional steels according to DIN, EN 10219-1.2, TÜV NORD certified. Moreover, LUGANSK TUBE PLANT has implemented the Quality Management System in accordance with DSTU ISO 9001-2001.
Lugansk Tube Plant continues to realize a tech development programme including capacity modernization and renovation. In particular, in 2009-2010, the plant launched two new mills to broaden the size range to 168 mm diameter for pipes and to 140x140 mm for hollow sections. Previously, the upper ends were 108 mm for pipes and 100x60 mm for hollow sections.
In the future, Lugansk Tube Plant plans to start up four new mills.
